TechniQ Speedline 260 Etch Primer is an outstanding chromate free one component self etching / acid primer with anticorrosive properties. The product is especially suited for repairs which have been partially sanded to bare metal. Excellent adhesion to steel, zinc, iron and alloy. Can be used on conventional recoatable plastics. Active rust protection pigments ensure optimum protection against corrosion. Fast drying High filling power and easy to sand. Can be used as a weld-through primer for spot welding applications. The primer has good adhesion and coverage properties and can be painted over with most car paints, including water-based paints. Instructions for use: Ideal for spot and part painting. Before application, we recommend to wet-sand parts with wet-sandpaper P400-600. Paint several thin layers to build enough film thickness. Quick drying, new primer or topcoat layer can be applied after 10-15 minutes drying. Do not overcoat with polyester or epoxy products. Shake can for 2 -3 min before application to ensure properly mixed. Always spray a text area first. Superb adhesion to bare metal. Very fast drying in approx. 8 min (dust dry) and very easy to sand down. High filling capacity. Excellent adhesion to steel, zinc, iron and alloy.
